and our relaxing hotel boat Tranquil Rose..
 Tranquil
Rose is a family run business with James on board as skipper,
and Sheelagh in the office dealing with the administration of
running a Hotel Boat.
For the past twenty years we have lived in Surrey, close to the
Wey Navigation, and it was exploring the Wey with our young
family on our own narrow boat, that introduced us to the wonders
of the Inland Waterways. Now that our children have spread their
wings, we have the opportunity of running a business and
pursuing our love of canals, rivers and boating.
We are now well into our stride running Tranquil Rose, meeting
her regular clientele as well as welcoming many new guests to
the wonderful world of Hotel Boats and enjoying all that
England’s beautiful Waterways have to offer.
James and his attentive crew will be on hand to ensure that you
get the most from your cruise and that you have a memorable time
on board during our 2012 season.

We really can show you the wonders of the English countryside as
we journey through its history.
Tranquil Rose offers you a choice of relaxing hotel boat cruises, whether on
the River Thames or on canals. We will cruise each day, with stops for lunch
and at
several places of special interest. Each night we find a peaceful
mooring spot in time for you to take a stroll before dinner. All
through the day, from breakfast, home-baked biscuits and coffee,
light lunch, home baked cakes and tea to the informal dinner, you
can be sure you will be well catered for. |
